Komaljeet Kaur, Esq.
Associate Attorney
Komaljeet was born and raised in the diverse bay area. She is sensitive and knowledgeable of various cultures and the implications of marriage on one’s life. Komaljeet has a young family of her own which makes her even more passionate about what she does. The best interest of the children and fairness to both parties is Komaljeets top priority. She like to focus on her clients goals and works with them to achieve their desired results. Whether you need help with a highly contested divorce or want to work to resolve the matter amicably, Komaljeet is there to empower you on your journey. She enjoys going to court and fighting for her client’s rights and has achieved various victories in Court for her clients.
Komaljeet also believes that divorce should not be a taboo topic and the health of intimate relationships should be discussed more frequently. The social stigma that comes with a marriage ending needs to re-evaluated so greater priority is placed on the mental health of the parties and children.
She feels that we can only think about the best interest of our children and self, if we put our ego and judgments aside. Komaljeet seeks to foster a safe place where individuals can discuss the next chapter of their life and child’s future after a divorce with optimism instead of anxiety.
She is also very passionate about helping others and promoting legal awareness. She is multilingual in Punjabi and Hindi and previously used her skills as a court interpreter translating for members of the Indian community.
Komaljeet is also experienced in immigration and estate planning which enables her to see family law issues from various aspects that need to be addressed during the matter. She is also a licensed Notary Public.
